Participate

Culture Meets Capital is being built, with care and over time, to make enduring connections between the cultural life of the United Kingdom and the institutions that sustain it. The institution welcomes participation from individuals and organisations who recognise this work.

The most direct way to participate is to read what the institution publishes. CMC issues The Journal, the Policy Briefings and the dispatches newsletter, alongside announcements of After the Bell™ and the Annual Forum at Guildhall.

The Annual Forum at Guildhall begins in autumn 2027. Early notice of the inaugural programme is available through the mailing list.

Advisory Board

CMC convenes an Advisory Board of subject-matter experts whose work informs the institution's research, editorial direction and policy positioning. Members are drawn from cultural finance, the creative economy, philanthropy, financial services and civic and policy life.

The role is one of considered association rather than fiduciary responsibility. Members are consulted periodically on research framing, editorial direction and institutional questions. Appointment is by invitation, following enquiry to the Editorial Office.

Founding Circle

The institution is supported during its founding period by a Founding Circle drawn from the cultural, financial and civic worlds. The Circle's function is institutional alignment, civic association and strategic support during the period in which Culture Meets Capital is being constituted.

Founding Circle membership is open to individuals and to organisations. It carries no fiduciary or operational responsibilities. Names of members are made public only with their own permission.

Individuals join as Founding Circle members. Organisations and businesses join as Founding Circle Partners. The Editorial Office configures the form of association privately.

Editorial contributors

Contributors are writers, researchers, scholars and practitioners whose work appears in CMC's published output: The Journal, the Policy Briefings, dispatches and forthcoming research. Contributing roles are commissioned through the Editorial Office and cannot be self-appointed.

The Editorial Office welcomes pitches and enquiries from those whose work touches the cultural-financial intersection.

Programme stewards

Stewards support the institution's convening work, including After the Bell™, the Annual Forum and the editorial calendar. Stewardship is institutional service rather than employment, treated by the institution as contribution to civic infrastructure.

Stewardship roles include Programme Steward, Forum Steward and Editorial Steward, each held through the Editorial Office.

Enquiries about any form of participation are addressed to the Editorial Office at editorial@culturemeetscapital.co.uk. The institution responds in correspondence rather than conversion.
